Metalcore that’s in-your-face. For Those Who Can See is a metalcore quintet based out of Atlantic City, New Jersey. FTWCS draws inspiration from bands such as As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red, Parkway Drive, Miss May I, and Fit For A King. From heavy breakdowns, technical guitar riffs, hard hitting drums, and easy-to-sing-along choruses, FTWCS delivers. Jeff McTigue [vocals], Jordan Harris [rhythm guitar], Josh Kuhn [lead guitar], Brandon Favro [drums], and Tauhid Al-Farook [bass] all bring different styles of metal together to make one hard hitting sound that you can bring home to your mother. In late 2015, vocalist Jeff and guitarist Jordan formed FTWCS after a previous project had failed. Formally the drummer, Jeff set out to play guitar alongside Jordan. However, finding dedicated members was a never-ending-nightmare, so they started writing and recording the album that became “A Part of Orion” by themselves. Towards the tail end of it’s production in late 2017, they recruited lead guitarist Josh Kuhn, and drummer Brandon Favro, with Tauhid Al-Farook following shortly after on bass. Since the release of “A Part of Orion” in April, 2018, FTWCS has been playing live locally and abroad. FTWCS’s mission is to deliver inspirational metal that will bring light and hope to a dark and divided world.
