DREAMEATER - Unveil New Single "I Play God"

Andover, UK post-metalcore outlet DREAMEATER bring forward their new heavy beatdown offering to the world to showcase their prolific mastery of musicianship.

'I Play God' is the most aggressive song they’ve written to date and it has allowed the band to go down a much darker, much heavier route in terms of the lyrical content. It discusses feelings of betrayal and loss and how those emotions can easily become nasty, chaotic and violent in many different ways, which can also be seen within the music video, along with the story the band are beginning to tell with the upcoming material.

Dark and progressive, created out of isolation and inspired by suffering, 'I Play God' is available on various music streaming platforms via Famined Records.

DREAMEATER are a Southwest, UK based post-metalcore band, likened to artists such as Bury Tomorrow and Wage War. Since their inception in 2018, DREAMEATER have released several singles including 'Never Forget Me' and 'Dread'. These singles saw them perform with the likes of Our Hollow, Our Home, InVisions, Palm Reader, and many more across the UK. In late 2019, DREAMEATER released their singles ‘Shadow’ and ‘Suffer’, the beginning of a concept, and a story the band would continue to tell with their signing to US record label Famined Records. The band’s debut EP ‘Bleed’ was released in August of 2020 and took the band to new heights. The EP received great feedback from the press and fans alike, and over 100K streams and video views later, their position as one of the latest exciting Metalcore bands to come out the UK became obvious.
