HOSTAGE - Drop New Single "Curtain Fall"

German Metalcore outfit, HOSTAGE have released a new single "Curtain Fall".

Heavy music and feelings. Now that’s a difficult topic. Journalists and listeners alike are quick to drop the "emo" tag, add a "core" at the most, and that' s that. " We couldn't care less, because we play the kind of music we like ourselves. And if you' re still put off by categories these days, you can't be helped anyway," Noah Müller, vocalist of HOSTAGE, laughs.

The HOSTAGE story begins in 2018 in Aachen, Germany. It's about four young musicians who got together to play their take on modern metal. There is only one rule: Stylistic boundaries do not exist.

"Classifications are definitely not our thing," guitarist Nico explains. "Whether young or old, old or new school, headbanger or slam dancer - our songs speak to everyone". Which means thar HOSTAGE have developed their very own style.

In 2020, the quartet hit the bull's eye with their cover of the Chainsmokers' hit "Don't let me down". Hundreds of thousands of streams and enthusiastic reactions from the international music scene speak for themselves.

"Someone once said that our tunes drag you down and lift you up at the same time," drummer Marvin explains. „Which is a very nice compliment," guitarist David happily adds. Still, it would be difficult to sum up HOSTAGE any better than that.

Fuck the trends! Fuck what others say you can and can't do! The future is now and has a name: HOSTAGE.
