BELLE HAVEN - Share Second Single "Take Your Pill" From Forthcoming EP

Melbourne alternative rockers, Belle Haven, have returned to share "Take Your Pill", the second single from forthcoming EP 'Time Changes Nothing' releasing through Greyscale Records on Friday April 16. Pre-orders available here.

The new single is mixed, mastered, produced and engineered by Belle Haven's Christopher Vernon with additional drum engineering by Declan White and programming by Callan Orr and Thomas Mitchell. "Take Your Pill" follows on where "Nobody Likes A Hospital" left off with nostalgic throwbacks throughout and an honest lyrical foundation. The track narrates vocalist David De La Hoz struggle with mental health and his experience with electromagnetic treatment.

"In mid-2018 I was admitted to hospital to undergo a form of psychiatric treatment that involved regularly pumping an electromagnetic pulse through a part of my brain over the course of my stay." Explains De La Hoz. "I remember I began writing this song around two weeks into that treatment. Nothing felt better. In fact, it felt worse. I felt no joy. No excitement. No love."

To celebrate the new release and the return of live events, Belle Haven announced the 'Nobody Likes A Hospital' tour presented by Greyscale Records and Destroy All Lines. So far the tour has seen the quartet play two sold out shows alongside Adelaide infectious rock outfit alt. to fans in Brisbane supported by Days Like These, and Sydney supported by Inertia. With three shows left of tour, Belle Haven will take their energetic live show to stages in Melbourne this weekend for two sold out shows supported by Future Static, and will round off the tour in Adelaide with Heartline.

Consisting of four best friends, David De La Hoz (vocals), Christopher Vernon (guitar/vocals), Daniel Marinakis (guitar) and Thomas Mitchell (bass), Belle Haven have a passion for music and people and have proven to be a consistently evolving art form.
