TRAVERSE THE ABYSS - Release New Music Video "Faucet Mouth"

Heavy metal/metalcore band TRAVERSE THE ABYSS released their new humor-driven music video “FAUCET MOUTH”, which premiered via Metal Injection. Clearly not taking themselves too seriously, this spoof video shows the band dressed as different genres with gold chains to cowboy hats and cheetah print to chest tattoos.

“Faucet Mouth is a song about how once people have something to dislike about you, their mouths turn on and run like faucets, and the idea that everybody has something to say about you in the long run anyways. With the approach for the video, we went for a spoof video similar to blink-182's "All The Small Things", Eminem's "Without Me", and Bowling for Soup's "1985" where we are all dressed as different genres as the video progresses. Bands don't make as many funny videos anymore, especially metal bands for the most part, so we wanted to do something we thought would be fun, funny, and a bit nostalgic to us.” - Eric Abyss, vocalist

TRAVERSE THE ABYSS is a heavy metal/metalcore band from Scranton, Pennsylvania that brings an intense in-your-face sound by fusing elements of groove metal, thrash metal, metalcore, and melodic death metal to create something truly unique. With an onslaught of searing riffs, head-bobbing grooves, a variation of harsh vocals, and a new influence in every song, they will leave lovers of heavy music wanting more.

The band debuted in late 2016 with their album ‘The Gamble of Life’ and followed up with a self-titled EP in 2018 as well as a few singles. Since their debut, they have made their mark in the underground metal scene by playing independent shows all over the East Coast. They have gained an endorsement from veteran company Dirtbag Clothing, won a breakout series battle of the bands, and had radio play on several FM stations and internet radio. The band has also had the opportunity to open for a long list of national touring bands including Motionless In White, Whitechapel, Miss May I, and Attila.

With an ambitious plan for 2021, TRAVERSE THE ABYSS has gone all out for their new music video “FAUCET MOUTH”, which premiered via Metal Injection. They went for a spoof video in the vein of blink-182's "All The Small Things", Eminem’s “Without Me”, and Bowling For Soup’s “1985” for the new visual, providing the laughs and escape from negativity that so many of us desperately need right now.
