OF CONCRETE GODS - Return With A Thunderous New Single

Brit heavyweights OF CONCRETE GODS return with a thunderous new single and lyric video, Good Samaritan, out now!

Born in 2018 and hailing from Luton, these emerging UK metallers have devoured the raw fundamentals of metal fused with their particular affection for iconic gatekeepers Black Sabbath and Metallica. OF CONCRETE GODS also draw influence from a slew of areas panning from Slipknot and Alice in Chains, to Alter Bridge and Down. With each of them bringing to the table a strong individual music background, the quintet have a clear vision of what they want to create and they work tirelessly to manifest it.

This Summer, OF CONCRETE GODS revealed their epic debut single, Obsidian - https://youtu.be/6cT7IUDzQRc . The track was very well received and picked up praise and support from Planet Mosh, Devils Gate Music, Moshville, Maximum Volume Music, Ever Metal and V13, to name just a select few. Curtailed by the lack of live music, the band burrowed away to work on their live set, writing material in anticipation for when the world opens again.

The metal stoners are now primed to drop their new single, Good Samaritan, which is a beast of a track. Stacked with cutting riffage, pounding drums and venomous vocals, the single commands to be heard. Vocalist, Nik Scott remarks about the track: “Musically, we felt that the end of 2020 needed a swift hard punch in the face, so that’s what we aimed for, and we really had fun at Signal House Studios trying to make it sound as dark as we could. Lyrically it’s about dishonesty and duplicity. As a society, we have a tendency to lean towards the easy lie rather than the hard truth. This is true of our relationships, our friendships, and our politics. Hiding behind the lie allows us to tell ourselves we are Good Samaritans, and not admit our failings.”
