THE HOT ONE TWO - Drop New Single "Playing With Fire"

Brit rockers The Hot One Two are back with their new single Playing With Fire delivering a dirty riff driven, hook heavy slab of rock n roll. The Hot One Two are reminiscent of that classical sound many of us fell in love with, infused with modern day anthemic rock. The track is guitar driven showing crushing grooves and soaring vocals. This is certainly the kind of rock track that you play loud, ignore the neigbours and sing your heart out to! The only bad thing that can be said about this 4:20 track is that it has to end!

Playing With Fire is the second single they have released following up from their tour clip video for Rolling Stone. Great news for fans, the band have also dropped hints with Fireworks Magazine that we should expect an album next year! If the last two singles are anything to go by, it's going to be a must buy for rock fans and certainly gives us all the more reason to look forward to 2021!
Our latest single “Playing With Fire” is something of a game-changer for us. It was one of the first few songs that we completed after Simon had newly joined us. Having a new singer on board with a different vocal style, range, and creative input to work with gave us an opportunity to see where our sound could be heading. An opportunity to see how we can develop this new sound further to help shape the band’s future soundscape and unlock new potential”. - Joe Chivers

Made up of furry-faced frontman Simon West, Nick Manners on Guitar, Bass player Nick Blackburn and Joe Chivers on Drums, currently aided by Rory Lewis on second guitar, The Hot One Two are a humble collective of musicians hailing from Cambridgeshire.

Bound together through a mutual love for Rock music (and all it entails), the band are seeking to spread their message across the nation – a message to reassure the UK (and the rest of the world for that matter), that Rock music, is very much alive!

Cramming contagious riffs, face-contorting solos and monstrous beats in to their tracks, the guys put a modern spin on the Classic Rock sound of the 70s and 80s. After fast becoming a staple within the local up-and-coming Rock Community and NWOCR Scene with their bold, energetic and intense live shows – it’s fair to say that they are a band not to be missed when gracing a stage near you.
