The Progressive Metal outfit, Sorizon has just released their new single, "Imminent Contact", with the music video, ahead of the upcoming album, "Thanatos Rising", which has been gaining attention from Gear Gods and Ola Englund featuring artwork painted by Eliran Kantor (Testament, Iced Earth, Havok).
Hailing from Southern California, Sorizon is a progressive metal band for fans of all things heavy with their eclectic blend of vocals and riffage. They have been building momentum in 2020 with eight single releases gearing up for their third full-length album release, Thanatos Rising, featuring glorious artwork painted by Eliran Kantor (Testament, Iced Earth, Sodom). This album's themes resonate with the world this year: death, fear of the unknown, and the hope of renewal. Thanatos Rising brings Sorizon's peak of songwriting and critically acclaimed production.
The new single "Imminent Contact" features campy classic sci-fi movie clips alongside the band performing the high-energy new song. While producing music videos remains challenging during this time, Sorizon got creative with this concept in order to complete this video while social distancing. This is the final single to be released before the new album arrives in early 2021.
