DOHNY JEP - Drop New Video & Single Ahead Of New Album!

Drawing together a constellation of influences panning from Don Broco and Bring Me The Horizon to The 1975, DOHNY JEP have stamped their mark on alternative rock pop. With sturdy grooves, driving guitar work and contagious hooks, DOHNY JEP are set to soar with the release of their debut album, L.U.S.T, which is out on Friday 10th July. The rising quartet have also just revealed a new single and video for the album’s namesake, "L.U.S.T".

Coming at you from Kent and formed at the start of 2019 by Pete Herbert (bass and vocals) and Stuart Day (guitar and vocals), the dynamic duo set about to craft something different from their previous musical endeavors. Aiming to infuse their material with pop synth melodies, groove and edgy guitar riffs, after many months of rehearsals and songwriting sessions, the twosome finally clicked on a gripping robust sound. The pair began to demo tracks and built their very own recording studio, and subsequently drafted in Rhys May, assistant producer to Dan Lancaster (Bring Me The Horizon, Don Broco, One Ok Rock, While She Sleeps), to commence intense work on the band’s debut album. After nearly twelve months of work, the guys finally completed their new record, L.U.S.T, and it’s an absolute firecracker. The record is loaded with eight bangers that will bed deep into your aural senses.

Things could only get better when, upon completion of the album, the band expanded out to a four-piece with the recruitment of Rowan Tremain (drums) and Wayne Ambrose (guitar) to create a quartet with a fully fleshed sound that is ripe for the live arena. With support from BBC Introducing Kent, and with live shows in the pipeline for the later this year, DOHNY JEP plan to make big waves in the UK and further afield.
