Italian Nu-Metal outfit, Distorded Visions have released a music video for the second single "Harakiri".
This music video is the second single from the band’s first full-length album entitled Born Dead, which will be released worldwide on the 5th of March 2020. The album is produced by Marco Coti Zelati of Lacuna Coil and recorded, mixed and mastered by Marcello Iannuario at IannuProduction Studio.
The video was shot by Davide Papadia and the script behind it was entirely conceived by the band itself. The band chose not to refrain from using strong images of self-violence, discomfort and distress. Suicide is probably the most important and deep theme touched in Born Dead and Harakiri is the most representative example. At the beginning of the video there is an advisory sentence culminating in the words “YOU ARE NOT ALONE”: with this, the band wanted to underline the fact that if you are in need, you can and must ask for help without fear.
The band says: “Having experienced first-hand what we are talking about in the lyrics, and as we know that a lot of young people like us still fear expressing their feelings, we want to highlight the fact that not only we are like them, but also we are with them, always giving our support as well.”
