INCUBUS - On 20 Years of "Make Yourself" and Still Trying to Find Their Sound 30 Years In (VIDEO)

It's almost impossible to believe that Incubus' classic record, "Make Yourself" has been stuck in CD changers and now steadily flowing as Spotify streams for nearly 20 years, but here we are–singing along to "Pardon Me" two decades in. But before the band embarks on a tour celebrating the anniversary of the record, they caught up with APTV's Gunz to talk about the hyper-specific memory of hearing their song on the radio for the first time and how nearly thirty years into their career, they're still trying to figure out what Incubus is.

The band also opens up on why time off is essential to keeping their band alive and the "fun" room of their old house made famous on MTV's "CRIBS." Gunz also gets serious with vocalist Brandon Boyd to discuss the suicide epidemic and what advice Boyd has to offer to social media users being bombarded by false impressions of pristine lives.
