In late 2018, Meliorist flew to the US to record the new album 'Patterns' with Nick Sampson (Asking Alexandria, Born of Osiris, We Came As Romans, Of Mice and Men, Polyphia and more). Armed with their new vocalist Andrew Corfield, they had a renewed vigour and motivation to produce a record that will forge their new sound - and what they produced has resulted in a fierce and undeniably strong new record.
Guitarist Andrew Apte couldn't be more excited about announcing the album. "This record is what we have been working on for about a year now - and we are really stoked to see it get out into the world. To have worked with Nick Sampson on this - who has worked on some of our favourite records - this is something we are really proud to put out!"
Metal Obsession praised the band's previous EP, saying that "Meliorist have the makings of a major player in this musical realm (progressive/heavy music)." Meliorist was formed in 2015 and this latest lineup features Andrew Corfield on Vocals, Andrew Apte on Guitar, Maxim Lullfitz on Guitar, Samuel Schodel on Bass and James Ollis on Drums.
