SUMMER BREEZE 2019 - Three New Bands Confirmed!

Summer Breeze festival 2019 have confirmed new bands for the next year's edition of the festival!

They are one of Iceland's hottest up-and-coming bands and they will have their SUMMER BREEZE debut in 2019: UNE MISÈRE.
Iceland is not only one of Europe's most beautiful countries, but it has such an innovative hard music scene that there is just no way around it any more, no matter if you're a fan or a promoter. UNE MISÈRE don't play black/folk metal – the style that most Icelandic hopefuls are dedicated to these days – but atmospheric post hardcore, and they're great at it too. Not only did the band recently entrance their local Eistnaflug festival, but they also triumphed at Roadburn. You see, these are best references to anticipate a killer show in Dinkelsbühl. Be there to witness UNE MISÈRE's SUMMER BREEZE debut!

Black metal is always welcome? Exactly! Especally when it's German black metal. Because German black metal has always been special... special and different. Especially complex and creative, as compared to the usual millions of pseudo Scandinavian copies, because our German homeland was also blessed with a high density of quality bands in that respect. An example for this is our next confirmation: DOWNFALL OF GAIA will be our guests at SUMMER BREEZE Open Air!
The four guys from Berlin, Hamburg and New York are probably not black metal in the classic sense of the term, yet they contribute to expand the genre with their various intepretations of the style through interesting, momentous nuances. Their music unites unleashed rage, numerous memorable melodies and a pitch black atmosphere. This band doesn't have to fear comparisons with any other, even names such as Naglfar, Eis, Agrypnie, The Ruins Of Beverast, Der Weg Einer Freiheit or even Secrets Of The Moon. Black metal fans now what's up: brutal headbanging is what's up!

The single most consistent band in death metal is coming to the BREEZE 2019. Or have you ever seen a bad NAPALM DEATH show?
No, because there is nothing like that. NAPALM DEATH are and will always be like a Swiss clock. With astonishing regularity they deliver one killer album after the next and then proceed to play their asses off. Incredibly tight and with a back catalogue spanning what seems like thousands of songs, the Brits will show you once again in Dinkelsbühl who are the best in live death metal. No more questions, your honour...

Summer Breeze festival is happening between August 14th – 17th, 2019 in Dinkelsbühl, Germany.
