Summer Breeze festival 2019 have confirmed new bands for the next year's edition of the festival!
After six long years they are finally coming back to SUMMER BREEZE Open Air. Ladies and gentlemen, please join us in welcoming EVERGREEN TERRACE!!
Attentive fans have already registered that frontman Andrew Carey, as well as drummer Christopher Brown, have been part of the band again since 2017! This means the five metalcore heroes are coming to Dinkelsbühl reunited, and with a new album to boot, to show us once again what a bunch of talented bastards they really are. So all metalcore fans among you can look forward to an energy-laden EVERGREEN TERRACE show at SUMMER BREEZE 2019!
As you already know, your wish is our command, and after HARPYIE showed up many times in your wishlists, we can finally announce them for 2019.
Residing in between the realms of medieval metal and folk rock, HARPYIE have been touring Germany up and down for already seven years. Now they finally land at SUMMER BREEZE, where this kind of music is always enjoyed and celebrated with a good party and a similar amount of drinks. So let the 'Freakshow' begin, HARPYIE will welcome you with a 'Blind Flight' in the light of Dinkelsbühl.
OK, the faint of heart should probably skip this band, but metalheads who like it heavy and brutal should look forward to RECTAL SMEGMA's arrival in Dinkelsbühl in 2019.
The Dutch gore-grind band have been touring a lot lately, so you can expect a very tight ensemble. But whatever, in gore-grind the fun should probably come first, so the RECTAL SMEGMA show is guaranteed to become a huge party. The guys are already desperate for their show at the BREEZE, and we hope you are, too. So rise and grind!
Get ready for a total inferno: ANAAL NATHRAKH will lay waste to SUMMER BREEZE in 2019.
It's really cool that the band managed such a killer album with 'A New Kind Of Horror', so that half of the SUMMER BREEZE office crew didn't listen to anything else for weeks. It goes without saying we had to invite the boys to ignite the same kind of inferno in Dinkelsbühl. If you enjoy massive blastbeats, in-your-face riffs, inhuman growls and some clean singing, this one's definitely for you. In terms of sheer compositional craziness, the likes of Devin Townsend, Zimmer's Hole and 'City'-era Strapping Young Lad come to mind... This show will – no, must! – hit the festival like a bomb! Boooom!

With this band you can expect intense, straight rock'n'roll at SUMMER BREEZE 2019, led by Kristopher Schau's raw, angry voice. These tough hounds have become one of Norway's hardest and most acclaimed bands through numerous releases and a large number of gigs. Not only do the dogs manage to release a studio album, a live album and four singles in one year and play their way through Norwegian lands at sold-out shows, they even supported Bruce Springsteen and went on a European tour with Kvelertak. Next, the Norwegians will come to Dinkelsbühl to throw you a big bone in the form of their new album 'Before Brutality', which will be released in January 2019. Don't you dare miss this treat!
Our next guests from England will bring a very special show for us: CRADLE OF FILTH will play a special 'Cruelty And The Beast' show!
'Cruelty And The Beast' meant the first chart entry for the Englishmen led by Dani Filth in 1998, further cementing their position of power in the still young wave of “new” black metal bands. Until today, many fans consider this album to be among the band's best, so you shouldn't miss this special anniversary show in Dinkelsbühl. CRADLE OF FILTH at their best, just like the old days!
