Summer Breeze festival 2019 have announced new bands for next year's edition of the festival!
At the court of SUMMER BREEZE for the very first time: TWILIGHT FORCE!
In 2011 six Swedes joined forces and created the role-playing characters Alessandro Conti, Lynd, Aerendir, Blackwald, Born and De’Azsh in order to breathe new life into the dying heart of classic power metal. So they formed TWILIGHT FORCE and took it upon themselves to tribute the old school sound of the 90s, enriched with some modern sounds. Their loyal warriors are regularly transported to times of epic fights on medievals battlefields, fire-breathing dragons, cunning magicians and mighty magic. Followers of bands such as Rhapsody, Kamelot, Hammerfall and Gloryhammer should not miss this treat. Into battle!
With the arrival of our next confirmation, established groups such as Nile and Dying Fetus will face some tough competition: DECAPITATED are going to do the honors at SUMMER BREEZE 2019!
Seldom a band has shown such perseverance, facing terrible setbacks yet delivering again and again. For the fourth time already the four Polish lads will hack up Dinkelsbühl with brutal an uncompromising heaviness. The musical achievemnts of DECAPITATED remain untouched. Active since the eighties, the five Americans have been among the most outstanding exponents of progressive power metal ever since. With their concept album 'Operation: Mindcrime' they had a massive hit, and even though they might have seemed a bit unfocused around the turn of the millennium, they left that phase behind to continue in the tradition of their old monster albums with 2015's 'Condition Hüman'. But that's not all: On the 1st of March 2019 singer Todd La Torre and co. will release their new album 'The Verdict' after four long years. So you can look forward to the highlights of four decades of QUEENSRŸCHE history in Dinkelsbühl, plus you will get to enjoy their new tracks! It's going to be great!
