SUMMER BREEZE 2019 - Another Three Bands Confirmed!

Summer Breeze festival 2019 have confirmed new bands for the next year's edition of the festival!

Woman power! unfortunately still quite rare in the metal genre, but with BURNING WITCHES there is a hopeful all-girl band coming to SUMMER BREEZE 2019!
Once again, Nuclear Blast have had a good nose for up-and-coming bands, signing the ladies from BURNING WITCHES straight away. With their second album, 'Hexenhammer', the girls prove with ease that BURNING WITCHES aren't just a bunch of pretty faces, because their album is full of confidence and uncompromising heavy metal tunes. This means all fans of the traditional metal arts should add BURNING WITCHES to their to-do list, as this band has te potential to rock bigger stages soon!

In 2019 a beast is coming to SUMMER BREEZE, a beast which has fought with power and might to earn its rightful place on the big heavy metal battlefield.
BEAST IN BLACK is the new band led by former Battle Beast guitarist and songwriter Anton Kabanen. The Helsinki-based band's debut album 'Berserker' was inspired by Judas Priest, W.A.S.P., Accept and other heavy metal greats of the glorious 80s, yet it sounds a lot more symphonic. In February 2019 their sophomore album 'From Hell With Love' will see the light of day, so they will arrive in Dinkelsbühl with more than enough new material under their belts. With BEAST IN BLACK you can expect a musical thunderstorm and loads of unbound live energy. Fans of varied power metal will definitely get their money's worth!

You like progressive metal, but nice and heavy? Well, we've got something for you: THE CONTORTIONIST!
This is the first time we welcome the Indiana six-piece at SUMMER BREEZE. Since their formation in 2006, the Americans have had an impressive musical evolution and managed to gain a lot of attention with their 2017 album 'The Clairvoyant'. THE CONTORTIONIST succeed in intertwining their eclectic influences from post rock, djent and traditional prog rock in a harmonious way, appealing to all metalcore hats as well as tech freaks out there. The guys are definitely talented, no doubt about it. And if you like complex, challenging stuff, this is perfect for you! This is what metal should be like!

Summer Breeze festival is happening between August 14th – 17th, 2019 in Dinkelsbühl, Germany.
