Wichita, Kansas outfit Revisionist has released "Sage", the first single off of their soon to be released LP entitled "Culling". Production and Mastering done by longtime friend and colleague, Jeff Sahyoun of Letlive. Of the song, frontman Joshua Barbee states, "Sage is about the mentors that guide us during times of struggle. We use them as sounding boards while facing our own demons and taking responsibility for the things we should, rather than being overly concerned with the actions of others. But it's also about being that, in return, to the family for which you choose to bear that burden."
The band is currently booking extensive tour dates for the latter half of 2018, and a release date for the record is yet to be set.
Featuring former members of Bermuda (Mediaskare), The Gentleman Homicide (Blood And Ink), Take It Back (Facedown), and Signs of Hope (Stillborn), the members had amassed well over a decade of cumulative touring experience prior to setting forth the goal to take hardcore back to a more simple and pure time when the message presented was as or more important than any other aspect.
