THE ZEALOTS - Release New Music Video For "Tangerine Dreams"

Maintaining healthy relationships while being in a touring band is a struggle that many musicians can relate to and the new single "Tangerine Dreams" from The Zealots takes a closer look at those conflicts. The Iowa-based hard rockers premiered the music video via Alternative Press.

"'Tangerine Dreams' is about the duality of relationships," says frontman Micah Martin. "They can be amazing, but there are burdens and baggage that comes along with it."

Mastered by Cameron Mizell, the new single comes from the band's upcoming album Only Rocks Live Forever, available June 1st.

"The title for the album comes from an old western saying 'it’s not about how long you live, but how you live' and that's big for us as artists," says Martin. "We don’t see results we would like to see sometimes or plans don’t always pan out. When you live by this motto, those things don’t matter. All that matters is how you react to them and how you decide to live your life moving forward."

Martin's talents are not limited to the hard rock world, as he has been the featured vocalist on many different EDM tracks, three of which have over 1 million plays on Spotify. He has a steady 165,000+ monthly listeners and has racked up millions of streams on YouTube via his collaborations. He and the rest of the band have been writing music with DJ/producer Kayzo, who featured the band on his latest massive album Overlord, and they hope to add some rock n' roll influence to the dance culture.
