STEPSON - Release New Single/Video 'Come With Me' & Announce Australian Tour

Brisbane's Stepson are today revealing their brand new video/single 'Come With Me' and announcing their celebratory Australian tour - alongside mates Stateside and Aburden. 'Come With Me' will be available in iTunes and Spotify and all good online outlets from today!

The brand new song, which premiered Wednesday night on triple j's SHORT. FAST. LOUD, was brought to life by producer Callan Orr at Avalanche Studios and drums were recorded by Sam Bassal (Drummer from Ocean Grove). The accompanying filmclip for the track was directed by Adrian Eyre and Splat Studios and is now sitting at nearly 20k views in 24 hours of being online after it's premiere at Hysteria Mag.

Vocalist Brock Conry wanted to share his process on writing the lyrics and the themes surrounding the song. ""Come With Me" is about the constant self-deprecation you face when you think you aren't good enough for some one you truly care about. For me personally, I thought I was doing the right thing but the extent of what I created was ultimately the worst thing I could've done. I've always been one to ignore issues, particularly to do with my own feelings, but little did I know it is quite possibly the worst and most harsh things you can do to a person that cares about you. The permanent fear of not knowing whether or not you're good enough for someone who has treated you with nothing but love and respect is completely horrifying and I do not wish it upon anyone. In turn, I loved and lost someone due to my constant push and pull and this song is about how I felt during that very trying time."

The tour begins July 28th and takes in Casino, Brisbane for 18+ and AA shows, Newcastle, Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne for 18+ and AA shows. Both supports, Stateside and Aburden have new releases out now as well - and have been making moves of their own lately. Tickets go on sale for the Come With Me release tour on Thursday June 29 at oztix.com.au.
