The metal bash all metalheads have been waiting for is close at hand! Later this week, on June 16, 17 and 18, Graspop Metal Meeting unleashes the heaviest rock and metal bands on the Stenehei in Dessel Belgium. The line-up consists of more than 100 bands, featuring RAMMSTEIN, DEEP PURPLE, SCORPIONS, EVANESCENCE, SABATON, IN FLAMES, EMPEROR and many others.

Diabolical super group Brides Of Lucifer, the remarkable collaboration between the Kolacny brothers (Scala), Koen Buyse (Zornik) and Ives Mergaerts, will not only close the Marquee on Friday June 16, the metal band fronted by 20 women will also fill in the slot as Surprise Act in the Marquee on Thursday! Bob Schoenmaekers of GMM says: “I went to have a look at their dress rehearsal last week and was impressed by the show, I immediately appointed them to be this year’s surprise act on the pre-opening night. This is an almighty clash between driving guitars and blood curdling vocals. Graspop Metal Meeting is just the beginning for Brides Of Lucifer. This is no Scala. This is so much more. Metal & classic at its best! It sounds amazing and looks killer! A must see!”

It promises to be a busy day on Friday! Headliners that day are Rammstein on Main Stage 1, Emperor on Main Stage 2, The Dillinger Escape Plan in the Metal Dome, The Devil Wears Prada on the Jupiler Stage and Brides Of Lucifer in the Marquee.
One day tickets and VIP one day tickets for Friday June 16 are sold out. Still available are combi tickets (3 day weekend passes) and one day tickets for Saturday June 17 and June 18 via graspop.be or ticketmaster.be.
