Atlanta-based band PRIMER 55 — featuring Bobby Burns (guitar, bass, vocals), The DRP (vocals), Heath Shaw (drums), and Mattytime (bass) — will release "The Big Fuck You" on February 14 via Family For Life/THC: Music/Rocket Science Ventures. The 16-song effort is a collection of retrospective B-sides and rarities from PRIMER 55's classic lineup, including the band's long-out-of-print independent LP "As Seen On TV".

PRIMER 55 has begun work on its self-titled fourth studio LP, tentatively due this summer.
After relasing three albums in the late 1990s and early 2000s, PRIMER 55 went on hiatus while Burns focused on recording and touring with SOULFLY as the band's bassist, a position he held until 2010. In 2007, PRIMER 55 reformed to release "Family For Life", afer which original vocalist J-Sin left the band and Milwaukee MC The DRP soon came into the fold.
