GRASPOP METAL MEETING 2027 is bringing the ultimate rock ’n’ roll party back to Dessel, Belgium, with MÖTLEY CRÜE confirmed as the first headliner for Sunday, June 20. The American hard rock icons will close the festival’s 30th anniversary edition, marking their third headline appearance at Graspop and returning after their memorable 2023 performance. With four days of heavy music planned from June 17–20, the announcement adds another heavyweight name to a lineup already featuring PARKWAY DRIVE, FAITH NO MORE, blink-182 and MARILYN MANSON. For a festival celebrating three decades of monumental riffs, massive crowds and unforgettable performances, MÖTLEY CRÜE are set to bring the anniversary weekend to a suitably explosive conclusion.

Emerging from the clubs of Los Angeles’ Sunset Strip, MÖTLEY CRÜE helped define the sound and attitude of 1980s glam metal. The lineup of Nikki Sixx, Vince Neil, Mick Mars and Tommy Lee became one of hard rock’s most recognisable forces, selling millions of records with landmark albums including Too Fast for Love, Shout at the Devil and Dr. Feelgood. Their catalogue delivered a string of enduring anthems, while their larger-than-life image and notorious rock ’n’ roll lifestyle made them one of the defining bands of their era. Decades later, those songs remain central to the band’s live legacy.
Despite announcing their farewell tour in 2015, the Crüe returned to the stage in 2019, fuelled in part by renewed attention surrounding the biographical film The Dirt. Their comeback led to major stadium shows and another chapter in a career that has repeatedly refused to stay finished. Guitarist John 5 now occupies the guitar position previously held by Mick Mars, joining Sixx, Neil and Lee for a live show built around the band’s extensive catalogue. At Graspop, fans can look forward to classics such as “Kickstart My Heart,” “Dr. Feelgood” and “Shout at the Devil” when the band take over the festival’s closing night.
The countdown to GRASPOP METAL MEETING’s 30th anniversary is officially gaining momentum. PARKWAY DRIVE will headline Thursday, June 17, while FAITH NO MORE are set for Friday, June 18, and blink-182 and MARILYN MANSON have been announced as Saturday, June 19 co-headliners. The festival takes place from June 17–20, 2027, in Dessel, Belgium, with four days of music across five stages. General ticket sales begin Saturday, November 14, at 10 a.m. through
Ticketmaster, while Mastercard holders can access a presale from Thursday, November 12, at 10 a.m. until Saturday, November 14, at 9 a.m., for festival and VIP tickets. With MÖTLEY CRÜE ready to close the anniversary edition, GMM2027 is shaping up to be four days no metal fan will want to miss.
