Breakout hardcore wrecking crew BIG ASS TRUCK I.E. have announced their debut EP, FOUND ON ROAD DEAD, arriving October 20, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records. Alongside the announcement, the Inland Empire, California outfit have unleashed “DRAGGING MEAT,” the record’s first single, accompanied by a chaotic new official music video directed by Astral Media. Built around the band's collision of beatdown hardcore, metalcore and concussive breakdowns, the track immediately establishes the brutally physical character of what is set to become a major new chapter for the band.
“DRAGGING MEAT” was deliberately chosen as the first taste of FOUND ON ROAD DEAD because of the sheer impact it delivers. The song throws listeners straight into BIG ASS TRUCK I.E.'s destructive world, where crushing riffs, enormous breakdowns and relentless hardcore aggression create the kind of track built to hit even harder in a live setting. Vocalist Abel Abarca has described the song as one of the band's favourites, making it a natural starting point for introducing the five-track release.
FOUND ON ROAD DEAD follows the band's 2025 signing with Nuclear Blast and represents their first release for the label. The EP will feature five tracks, with the band continuing to push their heavy, chaotic approach while embracing the larger platform surrounding their Nuclear Blast debut. The physical release will also include a limited-edition 10-inch “Tire” vinyl variant, perfectly matching the band's oversized vehicular aesthetic.
With “DRAGGING MEAT,” BIG ASS TRUCK I.E. make it clear that FOUND ON ROAD DEAD is not designed for subtlety. The new single is a full-throttle introduction to a record built around impact, aggression and the band's increasingly destructive live presence. FOUND ON ROAD DEAD arrives October 20 via Nuclear Blast Records, with BIG ASS TRUCK I.E. preparing to take their wrecking-ball hardcore attack back onto the road.
