Budapest, Hungary-based nu-metalcore outfit AUDIOSVORA have unleashed “Years Too Late,” the second single from their upcoming EP Motion. At just 1:38, the track delivers its emotional weight without wasting a second, replacing a traditional verse-chorus structure with a continuous surge of heaviness, melody and electronic tension. The song follows the previously released title track “Motion” and further introduces the sound of an international band whose members come from Russia, Hungary and Colombia.
“Years Too Late” dives into memories, loss and displacement, opening with the striking idea of being made from memories before moving through images of disappearing faces, abandoned conversations, unfamiliar cities and journeys that continue without the people who once shared them. The emotional core is one of looking backward while being forced to keep moving forward, creating a sense of urgency that never fully releases its grip.
Musically, AUDIOSVORA combine modern metalcore and nu-metalcore with trancecore, electronicore and phonk-influenced elements. Reverb-heavy guitars create a hazy, almost post-rock atmosphere around the heavier foundation, while electronic textures and aggressive vocal delivery keep the track in constant motion. Rather than separating the melodic and heavy sides of their sound, the band allow them to collide, producing a dense but focused track that feels both atmospheric and immediate.
“Years Too Late” offers another glimpse into Motion, an EP that sees AUDIOSVORA continuing to build a sound around movement, memory and instability. Short, intense and emotionally loaded, the new single captures the feeling of a memory that refuses to disappear while everything around it keeps changing. Motion is set to further establish AUDIOSVORA as one of Budapest’s more distinctive voices in the modern heavy music landscape.
