Rising from the ashes of Pasig City-based metal acts ZAVULON and HEADSHOT, SP are channeling years of experience into a sound rooted in modern metal while remaining closely connected to the Filipino heavy-music community. The Pasig-based band emerged from the founding members of SIGAW PILIPINAS, restructuring their musical direction to create something with a broader reach while retaining the intensity and conviction that defined their earlier work. Their music addresses subjects including freedom, democracy, injustice, inner struggles and natural disasters, turning personal and social realities into a forceful musical statement.

Their latest release, “VVitch,” arrived on September 19, 2026, as a standalone 3:23 track. Officially classified as metal, the song credits SP as its sole artist, performer, songwriter, composer and producer, with the band handling vocals, guitars, bass and drums. The track continues SP's approach of combining hard-hitting instrumentation with emotionally charged delivery, reflecting the band's roots in the Filipino hardcore and rap-metal scene.
