REV3RENT have unleashed “Lacerations And The Feeling Of Dying,” a new track accompanied by an official lyric video and taken from the band's forthcoming debut full-length, She Let The World Run Rampant. The California six-piece have rapidly built a name around a deliberately raw take on deathcore, channeling the aggression and breakdown-heavy intensity associated with the genre's MySpace-era foundations while bringing their own generation into the picture. The song appears as the seventh track on the upcoming 13-song album, due October 30, 2026 via Deep Love Recordings/Atlantic Records.
“Lacerations And The Feeling Of Dying” arrives as part of a record centered around loss, heartbreak and the darker emotions that can remain buried beneath the surface. Across She Let The World Run Rampant, REV3RENT combine three-guitar heaviness, punishing breakdowns and extreme vocals, with vocalist Josh Bailey Guard providing the visceral delivery that has become a defining element of the band's sound. The upcoming album was produced by Drew Fulk, whose credits include work with KNOCKED LOOSE and MOTIONLESS IN WHITE.
The new lyric video puts the song's words at the heart of the presentation, offering another glimpse into the emotional darkness running throughout REV3RENT's debut. “Lacerations And The Feeling Of Dying” sits alongside previously revealed material including “Last One Here” and the album's title track, giving listeners another piece of a record that draws heavily from classic deathcore while maintaining the band's contemporary identity.
Formed in 2023, REV3RENT have already made significant strides with their 2025 Decimate EP and subsequent 2026 releases.
