ANKOR Take Us Behind The Scenes Of The “I See Red” World Tour In New Vlog

ANKOR open the doors to their latest touring adventure with “World Tour 2026 - Vlog Part 1”, taking fans behind the scenes of the band’s I See Red world tour and everything that happens away from the stage. Frontwoman Jessie Williams introduces the journey before the band heads to Japan, where Yokohama club shows and the Dead Pop Festival become some of the first major highlights. Alongside live footage, the vlog captures the lighter side of life on the road, with the band exploring Japanese cities, travelling by subway, grabbing snacks in the rain, and finding plenty of opportunities for goofy moments between shows.

The journey then moves across the United States, where guitarist David Romeu reveals that the scale of the tour became clear as early as its third day. ANKOR had to order additional merchandise and vinyl after breaking their previous merch sales record. The members also look back at their favourite crowds, with Japan, Mexico, Boston, New York, Toronto and the Dead Pop Festival among the standout memories. Eleni Nota recalls Boston as one of the best shows of her life, while David highlights the Dead Pop Festival in Japan, and Fito Martinez also singles out the Japanese and Mexican crowds.

The vlog does not hide the less glamorous side of touring either. Eleni remembers struggling through the first Yokohama show with a different drum kit, little sleep and the pressure of opening the tour. David recalls being trapped in traffic in Garden City for hours, missing soundcheck and having to move the meet-and-greet until after the show. Jessie also talks about the complications of handling ATA Carnet paperwork for touring equipment, while roadblocks, endless rain and soaked shoes add further challenges. Even the food does not always live up to expectations, with the band sharing stories about questionable sausages, disappointing sushi and terrible Greek food.

At the same time, the vlog is packed with the personal moments that make life on the road memorable. Fito talks about an emotional goodbye with Irina at a Japanese metro station, while David remembers a touching Boston meet-and-greet with a fan who left the band a note. Jessie highlights performing “Danzón” with Mah of SiM in Japan, playing their first show in Mexico and even discovering fake ANKOR merchandise. The members also reveal their favourite places, foods, surprising cities and tour MVPs, with Fito’s energy earning plenty of praise and the crew getting recognition for the enormous amount of driving involved.

As the journey continues, the band reflects on the people they met, the connections they made and the feeling of being welcomed like family across different countries. Jessie, Fito and David each recall moments that stayed with them, from Sakura blossoms and the Dead Pop Festival crowd to unforgettable shows across North America. The vlog closes on another typically ANKOR moment, with Jessie and Fito trading genuine band merchandise with bootleg vendors outside a venue and walking away with shirts, caps and posters. "World Tour 2026 - Vlog Part 1” ultimately captures the chaos, humour, exhaustion, friendship and unforgettable memories behind the I See Red world tour.
