CLAWFINGER Take Fans Behind the Scenes of Their Picture On Festival Adventure

CLAWFINGER have shared a new vlog documenting their journey to Austria for the 2026 edition of Picture On Festival, capturing the travel, backstage chaos and late-night festival energy that came with another stop on their busy summer run.

The vlog begins at a hotel at Prague Airport, where the band stayed overnight following their appearance at Brutal Assault. Frontman Zak Tell and the rest of the band start the day with breakfast before heading to the airport, offering a glimpse into the less glamorous side of life on the road as they make their way toward Vienna.

After arriving in Austria, Zak reveals that Picture On marks the fourth time CLAWFINGER have performed at the festival. As expected, the trip quickly turns into another opportunity for the band to showcase their trademark sense of humour, with keyboardist Jocke Skog once again proving to be one of the main sources of backstage entertainment.

While exploring their festival accommodation, Zak and Jocke revisit some particularly bizarre memories from previous visits, including the story of being duct-taped to a wall. The pair even have photographic evidence to back up the ridiculous story, giving fans another glimpse into the unpredictable experiences that have followed CLAWFINGER throughout their touring career.

The vlog then moves from backstage comedy to the main event, featuring live footage from the band’s late-night Picture On performance. Tracks including “The Price We Pay” soundtrack a packed crowd, with CLAWFINGER delivering another energetic festival set and proving that decades into their career, they can still command a massive audience.

After the show, the band return to the hotel before making their way back to the airport the following day for the flight home to Sweden. As the members prepare to go their separate ways and return home, Zak and Jocke unexpectedly cross paths with OPETH at the airport—and naturally, the encounter ends with the groups grabbing a few beers together.
