CLAWFINGER Take The Chaos On The Road In Their Latest Brutal Assault Vlog

Swedish rap-metal pioneers Clawfinger return with another dose of backstage chaos in their latest tour vlog, documenting their journey to Brutal Assault on August 7, 2026 — from airport meet-ups and beers to festival madness, live footage, and a very tired search for a hotel room.

As always with Clawfinger, the journey starts long before they reach the stage. Zak Tell wastes no time establishing the tone, casually picking his nose in the car on the way to the airport before the band members begin their usual ritual of finding each other at the terminal. This time, they cross paths with fellow festival travelers Pain, who are also making their way to the Czech Republic, eventually leading to the first well-earned beer of the trip.

After landing at Prague Airport, the band face another two-and-a-half-hour drive to the festival grounds. The journey eventually gives way to the unmistakable atmosphere of Brutal Assault, with Zak declaring that he can already “smell heavy metal” as the band make their way through the festival site.

Clawfinger have already played Brutal Assault several times, and their affection for the festival is obvious. The vlog takes viewers behind the scenes as the band navigate the backstage area, prepare for their appearance, and eventually hit the stage. Some live footage captures the performance in all its chaotic glory, with Zak later admitting that the band made a few mistakes — but insisting that the show was still amazing.

The festival experience doesn't end with Clawfinger's own set. The band head out to catch Primus, although their plans are partially interrupted by signing sessions and interviews. It's another reminder that the vlog isn't polished into a conventional tour documentary; instead, it captures the unpredictable rhythm of life on the road exactly as it happens.

On the journey back to the hotel, exhaustion begins to set in, but the mood remains surprisingly upbeat as the band break into some impromptu singing. After a full day of airports, driving, backstage wandering, interviews, signing sessions, and a festival performance, the final scene finds Zak still searching for his room — a suitably chaotic ending to another Clawfinger adventure.

With their latest vlog, Clawfinger once again prove that their offstage chemistry can be just as entertaining as their music, offering fans an unfiltered and genuinely humorous look at life on the road and another memorable night at Brutal Assault.
