SHOWING TEETH Shares "Bad Exchanges" — LISTEN // EP Out In September // Signs With Republic/Spinefarm

After quietly emerging as one of extreme music's most talked-about artists this year, acclaimed Nashville-based sonic alchemist SHOWING TEETH unleashes a venomous new single in the form of "Bad Exchanges."

Listen below and stream here.

Additionally, she has signed a freshly minted partnership with Republic Records and Spinefarm — as officially announced today.

Next up, SHOWING TEETH will unveil her much-anticipated debut EP, A Fate Worse Than Loneliness, dropping on September 4 via Republic Records + Spinefarm. Pre-order/Pre-save here.

On "Bad Exchanges," a woozy beat anxiously tosses and turns beneath her seething verses. Distortion groans, electronics squeal, and a chugging detuned groove explodes in tandem with a high-pitched scream. Amidst the chaos, raw emotion spills out like blood from an open wound as she wonders: "Why can't I just be happy? This feeling always ends." It concludes with an unbridled burst of intense catharsis awash in grainy feedback.

Stay tuned for the premiere of an equally powerful music video to accompany the track.

The song lands in the wake of "Rip," which has already amassed over 1 million streams and counting. Revolver touted it among the 6 Best New Songs Right Now," raving: "Beyond that textual heaviness, Showing Teeth goes next level berserk with her feral shrieks."

This fall, she will hit the road as support to President on the band's sold-out North American Campaign 2026 for six weeks across North America. This run commences on September 4 in Nashville, TN at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville, visits major markets coast-to-coast, and closes out on October 14 in Dallas, TX at House of Blues Dallas. All dates are below.
