REACH NYC Share "Fake Friends" Video

REACH NYC have dropped the video for their new, tongue-in-cheek song "FAKE FRIENDS," a buoyant, summertime anthem with punk rock energy and communal singalongs!

Watch it below.

You can dedicate this song to the people in your life that are never there for you when the shit hits the fan.

"It's for all the 'fake friends' and followers on social media that you'll never meet," says singer Rene Mata. "It's also about two actual people that were in my life. One of them, I thought was my friend since high school and he was in my first band. The other was someone I think was only friends with me to get backstage at shows and do blow in the bathroom!"

The song was produced by Cass Dillon (GreyDaze, Goo Dolls Morgan Saint) and mixed by Jay Baumgardner (Papa Roach Bush, Evanescence).

REACH NYC are gearing up for the release of the new album Ride or Die, out in late 2026.

Additional features on the album include Kiiara, Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach, Joey Santiago of The Pixies, Jeff Gütt of Stone Temple Pilots, Sean Dowdell of Grey Daze, Des Rocs, Stevie Dacany of Buckcherry and Grace Mata.

"Fake Friends" follows the single "I Should Have Known" (Feat. P.O.D.). Watch the video for "I Should Have Known" here.
