THEBOYSHADOW, featuring former Loathe guitarist Connor Sweeney, is pleased to share the video for the fourth single "THE POOL OF SO MANY."
Watch it below.
The song boasts a new wave energy and quickly escalates into uncontainable fury. These sorts of thrilligly unpredictable dynamics have been present in every THEBOYSHADOW song released thus far.
THEBOYSHADOW released the sonically ultra-violent debut single "GIVE ME A SEAM & I'LL SHOW YOU THE MEANING," which was two minutes of raw fury — like steel gnashing against steel, punctuated by moody dynamics mid-song. It was followed by "Bliss Being," a bit of a left turn. It was a roomier and airier track, until the final third of the song, where things erupt viciously before reverting to softer sounds. "INNOCENT INSTINCT," the third single, was another glitchy rager, intwined with melancholic aggression.
Thus far, TheBoyShadow has been met with near-universal praise. RockSound proclaimed the debut single "as much dizzying hardcore as ethereal shoegaze, it's one hell of an opening gambit." Revolver christened the follow-up as "a gentler companion...beginning with a pineapple-sweet paradise of glossy synth tones and twitchy pop-tronic footwork."
Clearly, TheBoyShadow's music is resonating.
TheBoyShadow has been a work in progress for the past four years, during which the artist turned introspection into fuel for his art. He processed his demons and was able to funnel them into the songs, surrounded by fellow artists who feel like family.
Earlier this year, TheBoyShadow hit the road in the the UK to support PRESIDENT's sold-out run.
