BAD NERVES Unleash Their Heaviest Track Yet — New Single ‘Network’ Out Now; Currently Playing Festivals Across Europe

Bad Nerves return with their heaviest and most uncompromising release to date. New single ‘Network’, out today, marks the beginning of a bold new chapter for the Essex five-piece and offers the first glimpse into a forthcoming exciting announcement - with more news set to follow soon. ‘Network’ is now available everywhere via Loosegroove Records (owned by Stone Gossard, Pearl Jam).

The past two years have seen Bad Nerves reach new heights. Following the release of their critically acclaimed second album Still Nervous, the band have toured relentlessly across the globe, sharing stages with Green Day across South America and Europe, Weezer throughout Europe, and taking their explosive live show to Australia and Japan. Along the way they've stepped up to major festival main stages, appearing at Lollapalooza Chile & Chicago, 2000Trees, Rock IM Park/Rock AM Ring, Sziget Festival and more this year, cementing their reputation as one of the most exciting live bands in modern rock.

If "Still Nervous" established Bad Nerves as one of the UK's most vital contemporary rock bands, ‘Network’ pushes them into entirely new territory. Heavier, darker and more confrontational than anything they've released before, the track signals a clear evolution in both sound and ambition.

Built around an atmosphere of mounting tension, ‘Network’ explores the modern manipulation of public thought through digital media, social platforms and 24-hour news cycles. The song takes a broader aim at the systems that shape perception, influence behaviour and quietly control narratives. It is a challenge to the endless stream of information we consume every day and a call to think beyond the noise.

The artwork further introduces the visual identity of this new era. Inspired by a scientific illusion discovered during a band visit to a museum in Switzerland, the image reworks and reframes that source material through a cinematic lens. The artwork establishes a visual world that will continue to unfold throughout the band's forthcoming releases, with the robotic central figure reflecting the themes of control, programming and manufactured reality explored within the song.

When Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong called Bad Nerves “the best band in England right now”, punk’s worst-kept secret went global. Armstrong later invited the Essex five-piece to join Green Day on their South American stadium tour, introducing the band to some of the biggest crowds of their career.

The momentum has only continued to build. Alongside extensive international touring, Bad Nerves recently partnered with Nudie Jeans and featured on the cover of Goldmine Magazine, reflecting the growing cultural reach of a band that has steadily evolved from underground favourites into one of the most talked-about names in modern guitar music.

Still Nervous and their self-titled debut received widespread support across BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Radio X, Kerrang! and Classic Rock, while BBC Radio 1 famously hailed the band as “your favourite band’s favourite band”. The records represented a defining step forward for Bad Nerves, expanding their audience globally and setting the foundations for what comes next.

Now entering their most ambitious chapter yet, Bad Nerves are looking firmly forward. ‘Network’ is the first signal of a larger statement to come, with a new announcement set to follow alongside their next single. Renowned for their 200 miles per hour live shows, Bad Nerves continue their international run throughout 2026, with further dates across Europe and the US including shows alongside The Offspring and Die Toten Hosen, as well as festival performances across the summer season.

With an exciting excitement to follow shortly, frontman Bobby Nerves concludes, “It feels like this is the main thing we’ll ever do in our lives. If we’re remembered for anything, let it be this.”
