Nashville metalcore juggernauts CHAMBER have revealed the second single "without a trace" from their upcoming album "this is goodbye..." that's out March 27th via Pure Noise Records.
Commenting on the track, vocalist/guitarist Gabe Manuel says:
“'Without a Trace' came together really early on in the writing process, and was initially supposed to be the first song on the record. We realized during tracking that it belonged on the latter half of the record for pacing reasons, but it was hard to give up on the idea of raking that fucked up chord being the first thing that listeners would hear. That moment is still one of my favorites on the record. The end of this song has a breakdown buildup that could have fit on our first EP, so it’s nice to nod back to that incarnation of the band. Lyrically, this song is about broken people who grift their way to positions of power or success with no regard for the people they hurt along the way.Even if they never truly get what they deserve, when the lights go out at night they stillhave to reckon with who they really are."
CHAMBER's follow up to 2023's breakthrough record "A Love To Kill For" features 12 unrelenting tracks of meticulously crafted, mind-melting metal and hardcore, including the new single "without a trace" and "violins."
Commenting on the record, the band has said:
“'this is goodbye...' is Chamber at our most open and instinctive. A lot of this record was written on the spot in Randy’s studio, with no time to overthink what wewere playing. When I think back on putting this record together, I just remember the laughs we had in the studio and how naturally these songs came to be. To be real, we just had a ton of fun and tried to write parts that would get each other stoked."
Fans can pre-order the album now and catch CHAMBER live on their tour in the US with MALEVOLENCE and GUILT TRIP this spring.
Nothing seems easy anymore, and that sense of constant struggle permeates this is goodbye…, the third full-length album from Nashville’s Chamber. In a modern world defined by exhaustion, uncertainty, and the relentless grind of simply existing, being in a band can feel heavier than ever—and Chamber confront that reality head-on. Following 2020’s Cost Of Sacrifice and 2023’s A Love To Kill For, the five-piece channel the emotional and physical toll of chasing creativity through touring, online noise, and self-doubt into twelve tracks that wrestle with whether the fight is worth it. The album’s title, drawn from the closing track “in revolving doors,” looms over the record, but rather than signaling an ending, it captures a moment of reckoning and resolve.
That tension fuels one of the most intense and cathartic records of the band’s career. Framed by stark audio clips and driven by their ferocious brand of “psychotic mosh metal,” this is goodbye… is blistering, chaotic, and deeply personal—touching on grief, existential dread, and the bonds that keep the band moving forward. Produced by longtime collaborator Randy LeBoeuf, the album embraces dissonance, strange rhythms, and unrelenting heaviness without compromise. Nearly a decade into their journey, Chamber have made the record they’ve always been building toward: savage, challenging, and vital. Despite its title, this is goodbye… feels less like an ending than a definitive statement—and the beginning of something new.
