SPLIT Return With Hard-Hitting Single 'Greater Than God' Feat. NECKBREAKKER

Emerging from the depths of the Danish hardcore scene, SPLIT is here to make their mark. With a fierce and uncompromising sound, the band blends raw intensity with carefully crafted structure, resulting in an energetic punch. Now, SPLIT present their new single ‘Greater Than God’, featuring NECKBREAKKER. The track stands as a powerful fusion of hardcore and death metal, underlining the band’s ambition to break down genre barriers and unite heavy music under one banner.

“‘Greater Than God’ is a track we deeply relate to - it’s about facing something that feels invincible and the helplessness that comes with it. It’s easily our heaviest and most aggressive song yet, packed with crushing tempo changes in a short, relentless burst. With Christoffer from NECKBREAKKER on the track, we’re proving there are no boundaries between death metal and hardcore — metal is one community”, the band explains. “We’re beyond excited to show what 2026 sounds like for SPLIT”, they add.

SPLIT was formed in 2024 with a clear vision - to push the boundaries of hardcore and bring the genre to new audiences. Since then, they have released their debut EP ‘2300’, a tribute to their hometown and a bold introduction to their sound. Building a name for themselves through intense and uncompromising live shows across Denmark, the band has already marked major milestones, including a performance at Roskilde Festival in 2025. With COPENHELL 2026 up next, they are further cementing their rise within the Danish heavy scene.

With new music on the horizon, SPLIT is only just getting started. The new single has been produced by Benjamin Jeppesen and Chris Kreutzfeldt, as well as mixed and mastered by Chris Kreutzfeldt (CABAL, Unseen Faith).
