MOONSPELL Kick Off Latin American Tour in March, Spectacular Orchestral Shows in Mexico and Bulgaria Confirmed!

Following the release of their first symphonic live album, Opus Diabolicum (Napalm Records), Portuguese dark metal pioneers Moonspell are bringing their monumental orchestral show back to the stage. The band has confirmed exclusive orchestra performances in Mexico and Bulgaria, alongside a Latin American tour in 2026, to kick off on March 13!

The Mexican audience will experience a one-off symphonic celebration of Opus Diabolicum, a live album praised by fans and critics worldwide for its powerful fusion of dark metal and classical grandeur. Bulgaria will also host this spectacular orchestral production, giving fans another rare opportunity to witness Moonspell’s music elevated by the magnitude of a full classical arrangement.

In addition, Moonspell will embark on their “Wolfheart and Other Stories: The Best of Moonspell Tour 2026”, a special Latin American run celebrating the legacy of their iconic debut album Wolfheart and key chapters from their three-decade career.

The tour marks Moonspell’s first ever show in Honduras and a long-awaited return to Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil - territories the band has been connected to since first venturing into Latin America in 1998.

Fans can expect a set that goes beyond Wolfheart, diving deep into Moonspell’s catalog with fan favorites, essential classics, and carefully selected deep cuts.

Commenting on the upcoming dates, frontman Fernando Ribeiro states:

“Moonspell is very happy to come back to this exclusive tour in Mexico and Latin America. We were one of the first European bands to venture into those territories back in 1998 and it feels great to play again to one of the most passionate crowds in the entire world. Mexico gets a one off, selected orchestra show celebrating our successful live album, Opus Diabolicum, praised by fans and press all over the world. A show where the power of our dark metal is amplified by the magnitude of classical music.

We then pack up and visit Honduras for the very first time while returning to Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Argentina and Brazil, to celebrate the three decades of our now legendary debut album Wolfheart. But we won’t stop there and after the hour of the wolf, we take our fans into a voyage into Moonspell’s best songs, deep cuts and repertoire. A musical communion in a territory where we have always been so happy and fortunate to play since the late nineties.”

With orchestral grandeur, anniversary celebrations, and new music on the horizon, 2026 is shaping up to be a landmark year for Moonspell and their global legion of fans. Make sure to catch them live at the following dates:
