GRASPOP METAL MEETING 2026 Twisted Sister OUT / Knocked Loose IN - Kentucky Hardcore Giants Step Up After Dee Snider Health Issues

GRASPOP METAL MEETING has announced a major lineup change for their 29th edition, with KNOCKED LOOSE stepping in to replace TWISTED SISTER on Friday 19 June after health issues forced Dee Snider to cancel all scheduled appearances. The Kentucky hardcore powerhouse will now close out the North Stage, bringing their devastating live show to Dessel after obliterating the South Stage at last year's festival. While the news of TWISTED SISTER's cancellation comes as a disappointment to fans, the festival organizers have secured one of modern metal's most explosive acts as a replacement that promises to deliver an unforgettable performance.

TWISTED SISTER released an official statement explaining the difficult decision: "Due to the sudden and unexpected resignation of Twisted Sister's lead singer Dee Snider brought on by a series of health challenges, the band has been forced to cancel all shows scheduled, beginning April 25th in São Paulo Brazil and continuing through the summer. The future of Twisted Sister will be determined in the next several weeks." The news marks an uncertain chapter for the iconic glam metal legends, with fans worldwide sending support to Snider during this challenging time.

KNOCKED LOOSE have become one of the world's hardest-hitting and most popular metal bands since their maiden appearance at GRASPOP METAL MEETING in 2018. The band's unique sound revolves around Bryan Garris' relentless vocals and punishing breakdowns that have redefined modern hardcore. Their 2024 album "You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To" featured the Grammy-nominated single "Suffocate," cementing their status as critical darlings and crowd destroyers alike. Fresh off joining METALLICA on their European tour, KNOCKED LOOSE couldn't resist the opportunity to wrap up proceedings on the North Stage at GMM26.

Ticket sales for GRASPOP METAL MEETING 2026 continue to surge, with VIP Deck tickets and Saturday tickets already sold out. Metal Park, Metal Town, Inferno, and Devil's Lake camping options are fully booked. Festival organizers urge fans to act quickly, warning "be quick or be dead!" Tickets remain available via Ticketmaster for what promises to be another legendary edition of Europe's premier metal gathering.
