UK progressive metallers DIVIDED BY DESIGN have shared their newest full-length LP, Stages To Osiris: Rebirth, today (13th Feb), alongside a killer music music for its mind-melting release single, "Collapsing Reality".
An expansive and colossal exploration of instrumental progressive metal, Stages To Osiris: Rebirth's densely packed five-track run showcases the band at their absolute peak. With soaring, technical guitar passages; phenomenal bass work; air-tight percussion; and a keen blend of the melodic and the ferocious, the UK prog unit's latest foray is one that thrives in its intense attention to detail.
The band's now fifth full length endeavour, starting with the original Stages To Osiris back in 2020, Rebirth sees DIVIDED BY DESIGN delve further into their technically-minded take on progressive metal, with lead guitarist Liam Stephenson channelling the virtuosity of players like Tosin Abasi and Jason Richardson, working in tandem with drummer Tom Chambers' relentless and earth-shattering percussion and Sam Young's fingerstyle bass chops to create something truly enthralling, and undeniably masterful.
To celebrate the release of Stages To Osiris: Rebirth, DIVIDED BY DESIGN will be embarking on a UK tour throughout February. During the tour, a release show will be held at The Drill in Lincoln on 13th Feb, which promises to be a particularly special show, with the band playing the brand new album in its entirety, accompanied by a string orchestra, as well as an additional guitarist and keys player. DIVIDED BY DESIGN are a new, fresh voice on the UK progressive metal scene. Channelling a deep sense of virtuosity, technicality and melodic brilliance through their own brand of angular and mind-melting instrumental progressive metal, they have built a reputation of respect and admiration in the six years since their debut LP, Stages To Osiris, with the band securing a place at Bloodstock Open Air through 2024's Metal 2 The Masses competition.

The release of their latest full length, Stages To Osiris: Rebirth showcases the band at their very apex of technicality and creative synergy, crafting a release that is both deeply detailed and highly skilled, but tasteful and masterful in its melodicism.
