Today, Marshall Records is proud to announce the signing of rising electric alt-rock band Daytime TV.
Building a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging acts, Daytime TV have shared stages with You Me At Six, Twin Atlantic and Two Door Cinema Club, and have delivered standout performances at BST Hyde Park and Mad Cool Festival. Their explosive live energy and anthemic sound have quickly marked them out as a band on the ascent. The signing marks the beginning of a bold new era for Daytime TV.
The signing is the first of Marshall Records’ 10th anniversary year.
Speaking about the signing, lead singer and guitarist Will Irvine says “In Marshall, we’ve found the right people. We can’t wait to get started and show the world what Daytime TV are all about. It feels like a big moment for us, and we’re ready for it”.
Marshall Records Senior Label Manager Ellys Airey said: “From the moment we heard Daytime TV, we knew they were an exciting band. Their performance at 2000Trees pulled a huge crowd and had such electric energy it was impossible to ignore. This is a band with real vision, ambition and the songs to match!”.
After spending 2025 writing and recording, the band have emerged with bold new material that pushes them into deeper, darker electronic territory whilst still retaining their anthemic urgency and indie grit that defines their sound. Teaming up with acclaimed producer Pete Hutchings (Royal Blood, Foals) at The Marshall Studio, Daytime TV are entering a new creative chapter with renewed intensity and focus with an exciting 2026 ahead!
