Norwegian progressive metal act Course Of Fate have released their brand new single “Acolyte”, a gripping preview of their upcoming studio album Behind The Eclipse, set to arrive on January 30, 2026 via ROAR - A Division of Reigning Phoenix Music.
Accompanying the release is a visually striking music video that mirrors the song’s mood and narrative themes with precision and intensity. Musically and lyrically, “Acolyte” dives deep into ideas of indoctrination, destruction, and rebirth. The band explains:
“Mindcontrol, congregations and affiliation. Once you are in, it's almost impossible to get out. But the power of fire and flames have the ability to turn everything to ashes. After the dust has settled a new day will rise. And through the eyes of a new leader... Will we find utopia? This song takes you back to a universe we introduced back in 2020.
