MAPS AND FOILS Stream Full Album "Nulle Part"

Paris-founded alternative metal/post-hardcore trio Maps And Foils have officially released their compelling third full-length album, Nulle Part. Written and produced over two and a half years, this conceptual work of ten tracks delves into alienation, self-destruction, and the fragile quest for meaning. Blending dissonant hardcore textures with ethereal, melodic overlays, Nulle Part invites listeners into an introspective soundscape both haunting and transformative.

Four years after their sophomore record Less Is Mort, Maps And Foils return with a quieter intensity and renewed resolve. The album marks the end of an era — spotlighting the final studio recording with founding bassist Ewen before his departure, alongside earlier exits within the original lineup. The band continued as a power trio, carrying the creative process forward with guitarist Tristan at the helm, and new bassist Antoine stepping in.

Clocking in at approximately 39 minutes across 10 tracks, Nulle Part is a tightly woven journey through emotional turmoil and tentative hope. From the brooding opener “Après l’éclipse” to the closing epilogue “Crépuscule,” the album’s sequencing is intentionally cinematic — invoking tension, darkness, and ambiguous resolution. Themes of capitalist fatigue and internal dislocation run through the lyrical narrative, where even light can feel like a betrayal.

The album is now available for full-length streaming on Bandcamp, digital platforms, and CD. Fans can also order limited-edition vinyl and bundled merchandise directly through the band’s Bandcamp page. Emblazoned with the artistic vision of Maps And Foils, this release signifies both an end and a rebirth — a testament to creative evolution and emotional authenticity rooted in the Parisian underground.
