HENRET Unleash Ferocious New Single and Announce Upcoming EP

HENRET has emerged as one of the most uncompromising forces in Denmark’s metal underground, forging a relentless blend of metalcore, deathcore, and hardcore into a sound as punishing as it is cathartic. Alongside the announcement of their forthcoming EP ‘Depths Below’, they also present their new single, ‘A Place to Suffer’:

“‘A Place to Suffer’ is about choosing fire over forgiveness - rejecting salvation, rejecting control, and embracing the ruin we were born into”, says vocalist Anders Iversen.

Following the success of their 2023 debut EP ‘Abandon Hope’ - which earned acclaim for its explosive sound and unfiltered aggression - HENRET has shared stages with the likes of CABAL, Eyes, Hexis, and Lifesick, delivering standout sets at Copenhagen Metal Fest, Odense Metal Fest, and Support Our Scene.

Their new EP ‘Depths Below’ promises to dive even deeper into despair and devastation. Produced, mixed, and mastered by renowned producer Chris Kreutzfeldt (CABAL, Unseen Faith, Nothing Noble), the record delivers seismic breakdowns and unrelenting vocals, encapsulating themes of inner decay and existential dread. ‘Depths Below’ is set for release on September 26th via Prime Collective.

“This record is a descent - into graves, into guilt, into the parts of ourselves we pretend don’t exist. 'Depths Below' doesn’t offer answers - only ruin, decay, and the truth that there’s nothing waiting for us”, explains guitarist Andreas Brock.

The new single ‘A Place to Suffer’ is available now on all streaming platforms via Prime Collective.
