Greensboro, NC -- Metalcore band, Alaya's Curse, are premiering their powerful new single, "Crimson," featuring Dustin Jamal Mitchell of Filth, through Ghost Killer Entertainment on July 25. The track follows behind the band's previous 2024 release, "Fade."

"Crimson" is a sleek track that pushes metalcore boundaries with electric undertones. Alaya’s Curse highlights polished vocals creating an enigmatic atmosphere.

“"Crimson" is this song I’ve been working on for a while. It’s a deeply personal one that is the start of a set of songs that tell story not only lyrically, but musically as well.

The title “Crimson” metaphorically encompasses the songs topics which is love, betrayal, anger, sacrifice, redemption and sort of the metamorphosis you go through we experience those emotions." Says the band regarding the new single. "Dustin‘s feature on the track adds to heaviness of the song to contrast the more melodic vocals, his parts were specifically chosen because the lyrics fit him very well, and the tone of his vocals fit what I was going for in terms of heaviness. That’s all before the fact that he’s one of my favorite death vocalist.”
