BABYMETAL Teams Up with SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL for Ferocious New Single “Song 3”

Japanese kawaii metal pioneers BABYMETAL have joined forces with Russian-American deathcore titans Slaughter To Prevail to release their latest single, “Song 3,” on May 28, 2025. This explosive collaboration blends BABYMETAL’s melodic hooks with Slaughter To Prevail’s brutal growls, creating a unique fusion of styles.

Adding an unexpected twist, Trivium’s Matt Heafy contributes by playing the shamisen—a traditional Japanese string instrument—infusing the track with a haunting texture.

“Song 3” will feature on both bands' upcoming albums: BABYMETAL’s Metal Forth, now scheduled for release on August 8, and Slaughter To Prevail’s Grizzly, set to drop on July 18.
