SHADOW INSIDE Released New Single And Video Of "Devastated"

Italian Metalcore act Shadow Inside have released a brand new single titled "Devastated", produced by Jarno Bellasio and available now in all digital stores in partnership with War Music Management.

A journey started with the first single “Insanity” and now with a new important chapter that combines the new generation of metalcore music to the roots of the genre, as explained by the band: “Our goal is to produce modern metalcore songs, but with influences from 10s metalcore, using very heavy tunings alternating fast guitar riffs with catchy chorus accompanied by electronic effects, such as glitches and synths, passing through violent breakdowns. What we want is a catchy but at the same time original and funny result, mixing past and present of the metalcore music. It all started with 'Insanity', our first single as well as the beginning of a narrative where it features a person going through many stages of a path in which each of us maybe can see ourselves again in some way. This path begins with insanity where this person feels crazy, in a rage, feeling nothing but despair that precisely leads them to mental insanity. This borderline situation makes one feel, in the second single, 'Devastated'. He feels without strength, in a dark abyss of his soul, where the shadows, which would be his problems, devour him, chaining his heart, but this person knows that he will find a way out in that abyss. In 'Devastated' the guitar riffs and breakdowns become more violent bringing the absence of refrains. But as said, it does not end here, there are many tracks coming out that will reveal the ending of this journey!”.
