SEEK HARBOUR Confront The Past With Powerful New Single ‘The Witness’

SEEK HARBOUR return with their striking new single The Witness, set for release on 20th February 2026 as the band step into a bold new chapter. Following a lineup change and the introduction of new vocalist Aimee Jade Allin, the band re-emerged with the EP Versus, earning support from BBC Radio 1 Rock Show, Kerrang Radio as Featured Artist Of The Week, Kerrang’s Top 20 Chart, Dreambound, TotalRock as Single Of The Week, Idioteq, Noizze, RTE2XM, Apple Music, Deezer, and more. Fresh from a UK tour with Colt 45 and shows alongside Dream State and Delaire, The Liar, SEEK HARBOUR now begin their next release cycle ahead of upcoming UK dates with All Ears Avow.

The Witness is an emotionally charged statement of intent. Blending intensity with atmosphere, the track channels the band’s dynamic edge into something deeply personal and resonant. It’s a song that wrestles with identity, regret, and growth — pairing driving instrumentation with vulnerable, dual-vocal interplay that cuts straight to the core.

Aimee Jade Allin explains, “Our latest release, ‘The Witness,’ is a confession written for anyone trying to escape a past version of themselves. At some point in our lives, we all make mistakes or become people we no longer recognise, and we want to change. But often, we feel stuck in our own shadow — a place that can feel deeply isolating and, in my experience, almost dooming. There’s a certain existential dread that comes with self-improvement, and we wanted to show listeners that they aren’t alone in feeling this way. There is always time to become a better person, and sometimes that means being willing to let go of our own ego. It’s never too late.”

Co-vocalist Edwin Matthew Hall adds, “‘The Witness,’ from my perspective, was written about hiding your true self behind a mask — a subject I think many people can relate to. It’s about not showing who you truly are, instead disguising yourself as an exaggerated version of who you think you should be. Sometimes it’s not even a choice. Sometimes you don’t have the strength to be confidently yourself — the mask takes over completely. This track is about finally finding peace in the understanding that all of those different parts of you are what actually make you — you. It’s about abandoning the masks and accepting yourself for who you are, with pride and confidence. You are the witness to your own self-liberation.”

With The Witness, SEEK HARBOUR continue to evolve — fearless, introspective, and unafraid to confront uncomfortable truths. As they prepare to take the stage across the UK once again, the band prove that growth is not just a theme in their music — it is the very foundation of who they are becoming.
