STRUCK/DOWN Announce Debut LP "Queue For The Cure" + Launch Ferocious New Single "Leach"

Following a streak of rough 'n' ready groovers, Kent-based groove metal outfit STRUCK/DOWN have shared details of their upcoming debut studio LP, Queue For The Cure, out 20th February 2026 via self-release. The announcement also comes alongside a riff-heavy new single, titled "Leach", and a zany, tongue-in-cheek music video directed by Kiall Baker.

"Leach", is a ferocious, riffy and attitude-laden metal masterclass that deftly melds the world of the classic and the modern in effortless style. Discussing the themes of the track, the band states: ""Leach" is about today's abundance of fakery and fickle perspectives, artificial views, selfish uses of alleged kindness, a care coated sheep on a manipulative wolf."

They continue, ""Leach" points at bad friends and alien family, parasitic types exploiting the kind and the anxious, sometimes the perpetrator has no idea they are such, but addiction to pity is becoming more common, with a heavy symptom of draining their circle with self woe, painting it over every day that could be otherwise labelled as a gift."

The album's announcement and the release of "Leach" follows the band's riotous groove anthem "The Slog" back in September, which saw the band continue to usher in their brand new era in furious fashion. Now, with "Leach", STRUCK/DOWN valiantly continue with their strongest foot forward into the release of Queue For The Cure in early 2026.

Queue For The Cure was produced, mixed and mastered by Pete McLarney, and features ten barn-burner tracks showcasing the very best in modern heavy metal. Featuring both "Leach", "The Slog", as well as the band's previously released singles "A Queue For The Cure", "This Tall To Ride" and "One Last Drag", STRUCK/DOWN's debut is a journey through metal aesthetics classic and modern, all melded together in harmony to create an air-tight and undeniably bombastic package.
