SUMO CYCO Unveil Hard-Hitting New Single & Video “Shivers”

Canadian genre-defying band SUMO CYCO have returned with their hard-hitting new single “Shivers”, accompanied by a visually striking official music video. The track serves as the opening song for their forthcoming full-length album Neon Void, set to arrive on October 24, 2025.

Frontwoman Skye Sweetnam introduces audiences to two characters, DOOM & GLOOM, who seem to follow her around in a shifting maze—a metaphor for traversing her own mind to find peace and meaning. The concept delves into themes of depression, distrust, illusions, and the reckoning of hard truths.

Produced by guitarist Matt Drake and Salvatore “Sam” Guaiana, known for his work with The Devil Wears Prada, Silverstein, and Neck Deep, Neon Void explores the duality of the human experience, aiming to heal, rebuild, and reconnect.
