UK/GER-based punk‑alt‑rock outfit PLAIINS have unleashed their explosive new track “Do One”, accompanied by a high-energy official music video out today. The release serves as the sixth single from their eagerly anticipated debut album Happy Faces, due August 15, 2025, via Long Branch Records.
Crammed into a concise burst of punk-fuelled chaos, “Do One” delivers razor-sharp guitars, relentless drums, and frontman Chris Reardon’s signature sarcastic wit—highlighting the band's talent for blending raw aggression with melodic hooks.
“Do One” features on a 13‑track roll call of unfiltered punk, indie, and rock—drawing from influences like IDLES, Hives, Soft Play, Bad Nerves, The Streets, and Viagra Boys.
With a steady stream of singles—such as “Happy Faces,” “Row She Said” and “C’est La Vie”—and support from BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing, and major festival appearances, PLAIINS are charging full steam into the debut release.
Brash, unapologetic, and fiercely alive—PLAIINS’ “Do One” shows they’ve arrived, and they’re not here to play nice.
