Nashville, TN -- Nu emo band, Morning In May, are sharing their brand new music video for their single, "A Master Class In Classless Acts." Alongside the release of the video come a summer tour announcement where the band will be supporting rock icons, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus this August.
"A Master Class In Classless Acts" comes after the release of "Shania Pain (Man I Feel Like A Loser)" that hit #12 on Billboard's Hot Singles Sales Chart.
"A Master Class In Classless Acts" takes fans on a journey as Morning In May pioneers the genre of Nu emo. The band douses their signature nostalgic emo sound in a refreshing modernized edge.
"We're spearheading this Nu Emo genre. When Master Class was done the producer and band looked at each other like "What is this?" We went off the rails with the original vision of the song and it became something none of us could really put a label to. We wanted to really create something new that was scratching the itch between Modern Rock and genuine Emo. The song itself is about the possession and love we have that ultimately ends in our own demise. Think of a first hand account of Jeffrey Dahmer knowing he was a monster, knowing he couldn't stop, and knowing he himself had to be put down. This is our dramatic take on being human."- Jake Bartolic, lead vocalist.
Fans can catch Morning In May on tour supporting Red Jumpsuit Apparatus This August.
“I was walking through a grass field and a band was playing on a small stage. I have Autism so I usually keep walking to avoid standing in front of a PA but this time I stopped. If your band is good enough live to make me stop, look, and listen then I’m going to sign you on the spot. So I did.” - Ronnie Winter, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus lead vocalist.
